Bukit Hijau, Cangkat Tembaga Hiking Trail is located just 800m away (11 minute walk) from our Laundryhub branch at Greenlane Heights. This hidden gem is a great place for beginner hikers. The trail takes around 30 minutes (300 meters) and you can enjoy the beautiful view at the top. After the hike, you can then drop off your laundry at our Laundryhub branch and have a meal at either of the two kopitiams next door.

Wesak day, also known as Vesak or Buddha's birthday, is celebrated mainly by Buddhists but is gaining attention from other religions as well due to the fact that we live in a multicultural country. This special day is celebrated to mark three vital events in Buddha's life; his birth, enlightenment, and his departure from the human world.
It is also a day where we reflect upon ourselves, to let bygones be bygones, and to focus on the current issues at hand. We must also not forget about those that are in need. Everyone has their ups and downs in life, we ought to help those that we can. A highly respected individual, Mr Kuan Chee Heng, aka Mr. Potato, is known to aid the poor regardless of race or religion. Everyday, he responds to calls of help primarily regarding food and money. Those who are able, can collect at his home while those that aren't, he will send to their doorstep. This man is truly a gem among us. We hope that others will be inspired and emulate his behavior as well.

Earth Hour 2018 - Turn your Lights off 1 hour
Come 24 March 2018, we will celebrate the 11th anniversary of Earth Hour, which started back in 2007. Let's face it, climate change is real and is here to stay. We have all experienced it first hand. Gone were the days of the cool weather we enjoyed. Now, it feels like we are living inside an oven. Rainy days are what we look forward to for salvation. We have to make a change to save our home, Earth, and that change starts with ourselves.
Try to incorporate these three 'R's - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle into your daily routine. Simple things to start from are to bring your own recyclable bag when shopping, donate unused wardrobe, buy environmentally friendly products and last but not least, turn off lights and electronic devices when not in use.
An extra action you can take is by making sure the load is full when doing laundry at our respective Laundryhub outlets. Full load = Clothing are below the orange line at the Washing Machine.
Everyone is invited to turn off their lights for one hour on Saturday, 24 March 2018 at 8.30pm (local time) to show your support for our Environment.

Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2018
This fun-tastic event is FREE to enter, though certain activities will be charged a small fee. Tons of fun activities for kids and adults to enjoy! Some of them include; hamster orb, reverse bungee, bull ride, and lots more! More info can be found at their official website here.
This amazing event was held just a stones throw away from our outlet at Laundryhub Penang Dato Keramat. There might be some traffic congestion so might as well park at our place and do some laundry, hit two birds with one stone. 🙂 Also, enjoy a brisk walk (~10 minutes) for a healthier lifestyle.
